A new study from the American Journal of Physiology-Regulatory, Integrative and Comparative Physiology suggests that people who drink beet juice regularly can boost their exercise endurance.

Beet juice (aka “beetroot juice”) contains high levels of inorganic nitrates, which “enhance oxygen delivery to the muscles and reduce the work of the heart,” according to a press release — so you can exercise longer without fatigue.
